Leader: Please all stand.
Leader: Please all kneel.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Leader: Let us call upon the Holy Spirit.
Come, Holy Spirit, living Breath of God, holy Fire of love.
Fall gently upon us and dwell within us.
Awaken our hearts, lift our minds,
and set our souls ablaze with Your presence.
Melt what is frozen within us,
heal what is wounded
and bend what is stubborn and proud.
Make our hearts ready to receive all
that the Father desires to give.
Send forth Your Spirit, O Lord,
and life shall spring anew,
and You shall renew the face of the earth.
All:
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
full of grace and wholly given to God, I come before you with trust and love.
You treasured every word and work of the Lord in your heart and followed Him with unwavering faith.
Take me into your motherly care during this novena. Form my heart to be like yours --
humble in surrender, generous in love,
and courageous in suffering.
Teach me to say “yes” to God in all things,
just as you did.
I place my intentions within your Immaculate Heart (mention your intentions here),
trusting that you will carry them to your Son, Jesus. Amen.
