Araw-araw na Pagbasa at Pagninilay sa Salita ng Diyos

Nobyembre 02, 2026 Lunes (PAGGUNITA SA LAHAT NG MGA PUMANAW NA KRISTIYANO)

Ebanghelyo: Juan 6:37-40

Lalapit sa akin ang bawat ibinibigay sa akin ng Ama, at hinding-hindi ko ipagtatabuyan sa labas ang lumalapit sa akin. Sapagkat pumanaog ako mula sa Langit hindi para gawin ang aking kalooban Kundi ang kalooban ng nagpadala sa akin.

Ito ang kalooban ng nagpadala sa akin: na huwag kong pabayaang mawala ang bawat ibinigay niya sa akin; sa halip ay itatayo ko ito sa huling araw. Ito nga ang kalooban ng Ama ko: magkakaroon ng buhay magpakailanman ang bawat pumapansin sa Anak at nananalig sa kanya, at itatayo ko siya sa huling araw.”

PAGNINILAY:

Likas sa atin ang matakot sa kamatayan. Tila ba ito na ang katapusan ng lahat. Subalit may higit pa sa kamatayan na dapat katakutan: ang mabuhay nang walang katuturan. Sabi ni Rosa Parks, isang civil rights advocate: “Without vision, the people will perish, and without courage and inspiration, dreams will die.”

Ganito ang pananaw ng mga taong namatay na bayani at martir. Inialay nila ang buhay para kanilang paninindigan. Higit pa sa buhay ang kanilang nakamtan. Nakakalungkot ang nangyayari sa mga taong ipinagpapalit ang prinsipyo at dangal sa salapi at yaman. Habang sila’y nabubuhay sa kasaganaan, namamatay naman ang kanilang espiritu sa kasakiman.

Totoo nga pala na ang pinakamalaking kawalan ng tao ay hindi ang pisikal na kamatayan, kundi ang kamatayan ng ating pagkatao at dangal habang tayo’y nabubuhay.
