AD JESUM PER COR MARIAE: The Marian Way of St. Carlo Acutis
The IHMP community, especially our young people, gathered at Bulwagang Claret on October 10, 2026, for an enriching talk organized by the Association of the Friends of St. Carlo Acutis - Diocese of Cubao Chapter, in celebration of the feast of our millennial saint, St. Carlo Acutis. Rev. Fr. Julius Boado, CMF, also joined the gathering.
Featuring Fr. Jerome A. Ponce, OFM, and Bro. Niel Pahati, the talks invited us to deepen our love for Jesus through Mary and put our faith into practice, following the example of this young saint.
Fr. Jerome reflected on the Marian spirituality of St. Carlo Acutis, emphasizing devotion to the Rosary, love for the Holy Eucharist, and the call to live holiness through prayer, charity, and the responsible use of technology.
Bro. Niel highlighted the First Saturday Devotion and its four essential practices: Confession, Holy Communion, praying five decades of the Rosary, and meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary for 15 minutes, on the first Saturday of five consecutive months.
Through these meaningful reflections, we were reminded that holiness is possible in our everyday lives. May the example of St. Carlo Acutis and our Blessed Mother inspire the entire IHMP community, especially our youth, to grow in prayer, deepen our love for the Eucharist, and use our gifts and talents to bring others closer to Christ.
“Do whatever He tells you.” (John 2:5)
St. Carlo Acutis, pray for us! 💙
