Blessing of Pets
With joyful hearts, our parish community celebrated the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi on October 4 with a special Blessing of Pets after the 7:30 AM Holy Mass.
Following the example of St. Francis of Assisi, patron of animals and ecology, whose life witnessed to a profound Christian reverence for God’s creation and care for our common home, we were reminded of the beautiful gift of God’s creation and the companionship our beloved pets bring into our homes and lives. 🐶🐱🐰🐹🐦
The pets and their families gathered at IHMP's Patio Mariana for a simple but meaningful moment of prayer and blessing, led by Rev. Fr. Julius Boado, CMF.
Our heartfelt thanks to Petzada for sharing freebies of pet food, pet supplies, and other pet needs with our pet-loving parishioners. Your generosity helped make this celebration even more special for our furry, feathered, and beloved companions. ❤️🐾
May we continue to care for all of God’s creatures with love, compassion, and gratitude, following the example of St. Francis.
Happy Feast of St. Francis of Assisi!
