El Recorrido de la Virgen: Our Lady of La Naval de Manila
With faith and filial devotion, the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish (IHMP) welcomed the image of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of La Naval de Manila on October 9, 2026, as part of El Recorrido de la Virgen, a Marian procession organized by the Quezon City Government in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen and Mother of Peace.
IHMP served as the second station of the procession. At around 1:00 p.m., parishioners gathered under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Julius Boado, CMF, to welcome the sacred image and unite in prayer and devotion to the mother of God.
A significant moment took place in front of the Parish Office when the image of Our Lady of La Naval was brought into the presence of the parish’s beloved image of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Fr. Julius led the blessing of the images, marking the encounter as a joyful expression of the Church’s filial love for the Blessed Virgin Mary and of the unity of Marian devotion in the life of the faithful.
Adding a festive touch to the welcome, the Kabataang Claret Animators offered a dance presentation as their tribute to Our Lady.
As the image of Our Lady continued its journey, the parish community entrusted itself anew to Mary’s maternal intercession. May she, Queen and Mother of Peace, lead us ever more deeply to her Son, Jesus Christ, and teach us to receive and proclaim the peace of Christ in our families, parish, and communities.
