September GABAY
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path.” – Psalm 119:105 The September GABAY of the Biblical Ministry gathered our parish leaders in a spirit of prayer, reflection, and shared listening to God’s Word.
GABAY, meaning Guide, is a monthly Bible study and sharing guide prepared by the Claretian Theologians, in coordination with the BEC, Claret Theology House, Claretian Communications Inc., and the Biblical Ministry. It offers a deeper look into the Sunday Gospels of the coming month, helping BEC leaders and other parish leaders prepare meaningful Bible studies, reflections, and sharing sessions within their communities.
This month, we were especially grateful to welcome, for the first time, our Scholastic brothers who joined the GABAY session and generously shared their reflections on the Gospel readings:
Sch. Joseph Rainy Amporias, CMF
Sch. Truong Van Sy, CMF
Sch. Hoang Van Loi, CMF
Sch. Patrick Gyi Myint Oo, CMF
Their presence and reflections enriched our shared journey of listening to and living the Word of God.
More than simply hearing the Gospel proclaimed at Mass, GABAY creates a space where we can pause, listen, reflect, and allow the Word of God to speak to our lives and communities. Held every last Saturday of the month, it continues to nurture a parish that listens together, reflects together, and grows together in faith.
May the Word we receive become a Word we live and share.
